SCUM OF THE EARTH Tour Cancelled
November 2, 2004SCUM OF THE EARTH, the new band formed by ex-ROB ZOMBIE guitarist Riggs, have been forced to cancel all remaining dates on their tour due to contractual discrepancies along the route. "We promise we will make it up to the fans very soon," Riggs said in a statement. "We would have done anything to keep the tour going, but it just wasn't possible under the circumstances." The group had just launched their tour in support of "Blah…Blah…Blah…Love Songs for the New Millennium", available now via Eclipse Records. Riggs recorded "Blah…" with an all-star cast of friends including drummer John Tempesta (WHITE ZOMBIE, ROB ZOMBIE, TESTAMENT, EXODUS) and his brother Mike Tempesta (guitar, POWERMAN 5000) — marking the first time the brothers have played together on record — SYSTEM OF A DOWN drummer John Dolmayan, as well as Clay Others (bass) and more. On tour, Riggs was due to flanked by former ADEMA guitarist Mike Ransom, POWERMAN 5000 drummer Adrian Ost and Others.
